
Stephanie McMillan is a great example of someone using their creativity, skills, and talents for the resistence. She publishes a daily comic strip and a weekly editorial cartoon "focused exclusively on the environmental emergency." After you listen to the interview definitely check out her work, it's very thought provoking.

de-politicized art, who needs it

I listened to this a couple weeks ago. I liked that part when you guys started taking about how ridiculous modern art has become in its current de-politicized form.
For example the organe mattress on the wall "tangerine dream" piece.

hey, thanks for listening! The removal of politics from art has been quite intentional, imo. The focus is now just on feeling something with no need to actually do anything.

One thing that I liked about the art committees and working groups that formed in OP and OWS was that they- for the most part- produced signs, etc... that were political.
