when occupy arrived in philly it was exciting and great because it came in with vitality, creativity, radical inclusiveness (no need to apply for a membership card or fill out a form, just show up) radical transparency and a radical new form of direct democracy for making managerial and tactical decisions. those things were exciting to discover and participate in… while they were happening.
