Below is an email from the city regarding the repairs that it would like to make to city hall in the upcoming week. When the OP Legal Collective announced these repairs at a general assembly last week, we were asked for details. We then asked the city to provide us with detailed information regarding the repairs--exact locations, anticipated time frame, and method of repair. Below is the response we received from the city regarding their planned repairs.

This is the information provided for the restorations. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call or email me. Have a great day.
WINDOW RESTORATION - WEST ELEVATION OF CITY HALL
The proposed schedule for the window restoration is to start on Monday 11/14 and continue thru Friday 12/2/11 for a total of three weeks, weather dependant.
The windows were classified as requiring blocking on an emergency basis due to failed support joints and sashes.
There are a total of eight windows on the West Elevation as follows 790A, 788D, 788, 784, 284, 368A, 664, & 662. These are shown on a plan elevation drawing bubbled in red on the PDF file below.
The two plans attached below represent the logistics plan provided by the contractor showing the clear area required by the lift to complete the windows on the West elevation. They are also performing exterior water proofing work for room 668 at this time.
Financial and contractual impacts, if the work is delayed, include at a minimum the additional cost for the lift rental ($38K), and may include extended general conditions cost for the contractor and the project manager.
WINDOW RESTORATION - NORTH ELEVATION OF CITY HALL
There are also five windows that require restoration on the North Elevation adjacent to the North West Corner Pavilion (NWCP); however, if the plan for the west, as detailed above, is implemented all five can be accessed without any further tent relocations. This work will be completed within the same time frame as listed above (11/14 thru 12/2/11), again weather dependant.
Two of the windows (NWC6 and 790) can be accessed by driving the lift up the cleared path along the west, per the plan mentioned above, and then parking the lift in front of the NWCP.
The remaining three windows (694, 594, & 294) can be accessed via the cleared area east of the existing metal barricade line on the North apron.
If the North apron is opened, the need for coordination (relocating tents) is anticipated to increase over time for the windows listed above as well as the remaining North elevation windows to the east.

is it even possible

is it even possible to move tents in an organized fashion. we could inform people that their tents are where the crane needs to go but if they move or not is up them. or that is the way i understand the way we operate. i'm not going to tell someone to move, but i'll help them move if they want. i could persaude them that their moving is the best thing for everyone (if that is the case - which we will most like not be able to come to a conensus on).
they (the city) knows what they are doing. they are putting us in a lose-lose situation. they are pitting us against those who should be our allies.
