Union Jobs for ALL! Protest outside Temple University Construction Site Monday (Feb 20) – 12PM!

Please join us at the Temple University construction at Broad Street and Oxford Street which has denied skilled jobs to women, minorities and members of the local community!  Temple University – which prides itself on alleged diversity – should be ashamed of the clear lack of diversity on its construction sites!  Union Jobs for All!

Good Morning! Happy D12!

In support of our West Coast brothers and sisters, the amazing Meghan Devonshire has written this press release--to be mic checked today, where ever you are!
Read this out loud on the train, on the street, in the bathroom, at the bookstore, with your friends, by yourself, at work, to your cats, to your waitress, to your office, to a cop.

Just make sure that by the end of the day, more people know about this amazing action than when we all woke up. The media won't be covering this, so WE have to.

Open letter from OP participant about the GA's decision

Last night was the final night of five days of dialogue and debate, in which the General Assembly decided on our strategic approach towards the “presumed date” of November the fifteenth. We will be staying, without expansion towards Thomas Paine Plaza. There will be no more talk of this topic in General Assemblies until the city gives us an exact date of the start of the renovation project. This final decision has naturally brought more tense debate to the table, but regrettably much of it seems to be based off of a lack of information or even misinformation.
