After arriving here in DC to late to cover the actions held today directly, I interviewed some of the people involved with the actions on Capital hill.

Occupy members, and labor representatives from across the country went into the Capital to ask senators and congressmen the tough questions, about jobs, the environment and many other key issues for Occupiers.

Occupy Minnesota member Tank cause Minnesota Congressman Tom Petri to well up, when he was unable to answer tough questions about oil drilling and environmental issues.

Tank is a farmer from Minnesota with a great love for the environment who took it very personally that his Representative voted in favor of a bill that allowed oil companies to drill in his state and increased the off shore drilling allowable for irresponsible companies like BP.

The bill was defeated in the Senate on Wednesday, unable to even garner enough support within the GOP. The bill was purposed by Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and the bill's sponsors were given 8.8 million in contributions by the big oil companies.
