Thousands of protesters, occupiers and labor people alike gathered together this past week to march down K street in Washington DC one of there first stops was to take direct actions against GE's lobbyist.
Who pour billions of dollars into our government every year in order to ensure that legislation that favor big businesses such as themselves, while crushing small business, the middle and working classes.
The protesters shouted down the GE lobbyist and called GE out on not paying taxes, while the rest of America is drowning in debt, and getting their taxes raised more and more each year. Protesters blocked the entire intersection in front of the building and poured into all of the surrounding streets.
As government grows to proportions never imagined they seem to be doing less and less for the American people in our time of trouble, because corporations like GE and Wells Fargo, who is the leading contributor to President Obama's re- election campaign, get all the bailouts they could ever want and then some.
There call was for Corporate money to get their hands out of our government and their message went out load and clear.
